Among all the the anniversaries taking place in 2018-19, one that seems not to have got much attention is the centenary of the flu pandemic that killed between 50 and 100 million people worldwide. In the Wolverhampton Circuit we feel it shouldn’t go unnoticed, so we are planning to mark the event in our services on 26 May. We feel that other Circuits might be interested in this, so we have made an information pack available about the pandemic itself, and we are working on some worship resources which we hope to have ready by the end of March.
26th May is the date we have chosen for our Circuit, but it could be done on any Sunday that individual circuits deem appropriate.
If you use any of the resources it would be really helpful if you could let Sue know using the email address above.
