Madley Methodist Church
I was preaching on 9th November at Madley the oldest Methodist Church in the District – perhaps in the country. It began life as a farm building in about 1600. It has been used as a Methodist Church for about 150 years.
I have spent 6 days in Shetland speaking about Israel/Palestine the BDS study guide commended to the churches by Conference and leading worship. It was good fellowship with Methodists in Shetland.
MWiB Caste Out Conference
On Saturday 18th October Methodist Women in Britain held a conference at Codsall Methodist Church in the Wolverhampton Circuit on the subject of Dalit Solidarity. A good number of people were present and an informative day was had.
Weston Harvest Festival
On 12th September I had the honour of leading the Harvest Festival at Weston Methodist Church in the Stafford Circuit, a great time of fellowship and worship was had by all.
Mining Conference at Lambeth Palace
I am Chair of the Methodist Church’s Ethics of Investment Committee and this day at Lambeth Palace is a part of the work we are doing looking at the Mining Industry across the world.
On Wednesday 24th September I attended the AGM of Wolverhampton Interfaith and Regeneration Network (WIFRN) at Sedgley Street Gudwara, it was a good opportunity to discuss the work of WIFRN and meet up with people of different faiths across the City.
