Presidential Visit
11th-15th February 2016
We wanted to ensure that people know what was happening in terms of the Presidential Visit which takes place in February. Some of the events are invitation only, whereas others are open to the wider District membership – this will be highlighted in the information below.

Thursday 11th February
Heritage and Mission
In the afternoon the President and Vice-President will be joining with members of the District, Wesley Historical Society and Ironbridge Gorge Museums to look at the issue of how we use our Heritage for Mission.
This is an invite only event.

Being Good News
For those who follow Revd Steve Wild on Facebook you will know that he takes every opportunity to share the Gospel with those he meets. In collaboration with the DMLN and the District Mission Enabler we will be exploring how we can Be Good News to those around us, with the keynote speaker being Revd Steve Wild. This event will take place at Dawley Christian Centre starting at 7.00pm for 7.30pm.
This is an open invite but booking is strongly encouraged, more information can be found on the poster.

Friday 12th February
Morning Prayers
Revd Steve Wild will be joining with members of Wolverhampton Pioneer Ministries (WPM) for the regular morning prayers event at Starbucks beginning at 9.00am
Russell Hall Chaplaincy
Revd Steve Wild will be meeting Revd Mark Stobert, Senior Chaplain at Russell Hall Hospital to look at the work of the Chaplaincy Team at the hospital.

Revd Steve Wild will be meeting with BCUIM Chaplains to hear about the work that they undertake across the Black Country.
Zimbabwean Fellowship
Revd Steve Wild will be joining with the Zimbabwean Fellowship at Bilston Methodist Church

None of the events on Friday are particularly open events, although I am sure that WPM would not object to additional people being at Morning Prayers.
