The West Midlands Joint Public Issues Team is an ecumenical group consisting of The Methodist Church: Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District and Birmingham District, United Reformed Church: West Midlands Synod, Churches Together in Birmingham, West Midlands Regional Churches Forum and the Heart of England Baptist Association. It looks at some of the big issues which affect society as a whole.
Over the last few months the West Midlands Joint Public Issues Team have been working on an Election Manifesto and have been consulting with churches to gain the views of ‘those in the pews’.
So far the consultation has taken two parts, firstly an open ended questionnaire and secondly a tick box questionnaire in an attempt to engage a larger number of people.
The results of the first part of the consultation can be found here 14-06-JPIT research report FINAL
The results of the latest consultation can be found by clicking on this link 14-11-Analysis – Final
