The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. It does this through fellowship, learning and caring, service and evangelism.

The Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District serves 224 Methodist Churches in an area that reaches from Stafford in the North-East to Llandrindod Wells in the South-West, including the main population centres of Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Telford, Cannock, Stafford and Walsall.
